Madeleine Krucker is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Guelph currently completing her Bachelor of Arts Honours in history with a minor in political science. Through her work as President of the History Society, she has developed an interest in leadership roles and alternative methods to engage the public on historical issues that are relevant today. As Artistic Coordinator on the InUnity project, she has engaged in the potential of experiential learning to connect today’s issues within a broader historical context. In her degree, Madeleine has mainly focused her studies on French history, especially surrounding the French Revolution and the Vichy Regime. In 2017, Madeleine had the unique opportunity to live in Paris for four months and experience this history of France first hand. She hopes to continue on in academics by pursuing a post-graduate degree in French history, and eventually hopes to return to Paris for her studies.
