What We Do
I Stand #InUnity stimulates critical thought about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in Canada (#MMIW) by transforming government statistics into embodied data. The resulting visuals allow viewers at many different education levels to better understand the scale of human loss in Indigenous communities.
We believe that shared understanding is the foundation of meaningful change. By both demonstrating and continuing to raise awareness about #MMIW, I Stand #InUnity works for a future that acknowledges and keeps safe Indigenous women and girls.
